Science by and for the many

Building a more inclusive, collaborative, and accessible future for science.

Together in Science is a Canadian non-profit foundation supporting hands-on science camps, training, science communication, and public engagement for young people and early-career scientists across borders.

Our focus

  • Running hands-on science camps for students and young people
  • Training the next generation of scientists and science communicators
  • Making science accessible to the public
  • Supporting equitable research and education partnerships across borders

Science should be created, shared, and trusted by more people.

Our mission is to build the next generation of scientists and science communicators by fostering global collaborations, advancing research across disciplines, and engaging the public through training, education, and outreach.

We believe science is strongest when it is inclusive, collaborative, accessible, and shaped by the communities it aims to serve.

Global challenges require global participation in science.

From infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance to climate change and widening health inequities, the most urgent challenges of our time demand rigorous research, public trust, and meaningful collaboration across countries, disciplines, and communities.

Four connected areas of work

01

Science camps

We run hands-on science camps where children and young people learn through experiments, microscopes, games and discussion.

02

Training local educators

We train teachers, volunteers and young scientists to continue science activities in their own schools and communities.

03

Building trust in science

We create friendly spaces for people to ask questions about health, vaccines, climate, microbes and the world around them.

04

Supporting young scientists

We support students and early career scientists through workshops, mentorship and practical training opportunities.

Our early priorities
