Science camps
We run hands-on science camps where children and young people learn through experiments, microscopes, games and discussion.
Science by and for the many
Together in Science is a Canadian non-profit foundation supporting hands-on science camps, training, science communication, and public engagement for young people and early-career scientists across borders.
Our mission
Our mission is to build the next generation of scientists and science communicators by fostering global collaborations, advancing research across disciplines, and engaging the public through training, education, and outreach.
We believe science is strongest when it is inclusive, collaborative, accessible, and shaped by the communities it aims to serve.
Why this matters
From infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance to climate change and widening health inequities, the most urgent challenges of our time demand rigorous research, public trust, and meaningful collaboration across countries, disciplines, and communities.
What we do
We run hands-on science camps where children and young people learn through experiments, microscopes, games and discussion.
We train teachers, volunteers and young scientists to continue science activities in their own schools and communities.
We create friendly spaces for people to ask questions about health, vaccines, climate, microbes and the world around them.
We support students and early career scientists through workshops, mentorship and practical training opportunities.
Programs
Hands-on science camps for children and young people.
Training local educators to lead simple and engaging science activities.
Making science accessible through outreach, storytelling and public engagement.
Building local partnerships for relevant and sustainable science learning.
Our long-term vision
Over the next decade, Together in Science aims to train fellows globally, support collaborative research, create accessible public science content, and build a sustainable research and training hub in Canada.
